I understand that you are one of those talkative people who says “good morning!” to everyone in the building and I appreciate your concern about how quiet I am by trying to get me to talk to you about the details of my life, but I assist that you stop. I don’t mean to be rude but I wear my headphones all day for this exact reason. I do not wish to talk to you or anybody at work. It is nothing personal, but I am, just as you put it “not a big talker”. So unless you have something extremely crucial to tell me, like perhaps the building being on fire – I ask that you remain seated on your side of the cubicle and quit peering over my side to ask if I did anything interesting last night because even if I did I will always reply with “no”
